Caged Amethyst Octahedron
This caged octahedron beaded bead is woven from beautiful dark amethyst and tiny Japanese seed beads. The symmetrical, spherical design is in the shape of an octahedron, with 8 sides of intricately woven seed beads. The beaded bead is hollow on the inside, and measures about 18 mm in diameter.
The color palette for this beaded bead was inspired by The Beader’s Color Palette, written by Margie Deeb. The amethyst beads are from a Rings and Things roadshow, which is documented in my blog.
