Caged Octahedra in Deep Lapis Blue

This necklace was a gift for my Mom’s birthday and feature caged octahedra beaded beads. The symmetrical, spherical design is in the shape of an octahedron, with 8 sides of intricately woven seed beads. The beaded beads are hollow on the inside, and measure about 18 mm in diameter.
