Inspired by the origami of Rona Gurkewitz and Bennett Arnstein, these beaded eggs are woven in the shape of a truncated hexadecahedron, an irregular polyhedron made from 16 hexagons, 8 pentagons, and 2 squares. Each egg is hollow and completely sturdy, and uses 72 pearls or semiprecious stone round beads.
