Stitch your own terrarium all out of beads! A terrarium is a miniature garden all contained in a small vessel that can sit on your desk or shelf. In this two day workshop, we'll explore how to construct our own ornamental terrariums, and you'll learn how to fill them with your own little slice of beaded nature. Decorate them with tiny flowers, miniature succulents, or etched lotus crystals for the look of a sparkly geode. Several variations are possible, including terrariums of different shapes and sizes, and the components in this piece can be adapted into wearable jewelry too. All students will receive the instructions for all projects shown.

Prerequisites: Students should be proficient in peyote stitch, comfortable in cubic right-angle weave (CRAW), and should be comfortable working with two-hole beads, size 15° seed beads, and stitching in tight spaces.

Skill level: Intermediate
