The Candy Dodecahedron beaded bead uses the geometry of a dodecahedron to weave thirty beads into an intricate ballstructure. This project is a great step up from the Candy Cube beaded bead, and it's perfect for beaders ready for a more challenging project. This beaded bead can be woven in several different color patterns, and it can be created from several different types of beads for a variety of different effects. Use a pair of them in earrings, use one for a dainty pendant, or a handful for a sparkly necklace.

Materials

To stitch these beaded beads, you'll need:

  • 4mm round beads, freshwater pearls, fire polish beads, or bicone crystals
  • Beading thread (6lb Fireline, KO, Miyuki beading thread, or One G)

Dimensions: 0.6 inches (1.5 cm) in diameter

Techniques: Right Angle Weave (RAW) and Cubic Right Angle Weave (CRAW)
