The Stepping Stones bracelet features four different shapes of geometric components that use a combination of Tila, Half Tila, and bugle beads to frame sparkly rivoli crystals. Connect the individual components together in a complex but symmetric arrangement for an intricate bracelet, or experiment with your own arrangements for completely different looks.

This pattern is appropriate for beaders who are familiar with the circular peyote and netting stitches and who would like to apply these techniques to 2-hole beads. The pattern includes detailed step-by-step instructions showing how to weave four different shapes of Stepping Stones components and a few ways to connect them together into a bracelet.

Materials

To stitch this bracelet, you'll need:

  • 10.5mm (47ss) and 8mm (39ss) rivoli crystals
  • 6mm (30ss) flat back crystals
  • Miyuki Tila and Half Tila beads
  • 3mm Japanese bugle beads
  • 15° and 11° Japanese seed beads
  • A 16mm 2-strand bar clasp
  • Beading thread (6lb Fireline)
