Terrarium Zoom Workshop and Kit October 19 and 26, 2024
Terrarium Zoom Workshop and Kit October 19 and 26, 2024
Stitch your own terrarium all out of beads! A terrarium is a miniature garden all contained in a small vessel that can sit on your desk or shelf. In this two day workshop, we'll explore how to construct our own ornamental terrariums, and you'll learn how to fill them with your own little slice of beaded nature. Decorate them with tiny flowers, miniature succulents, or etched lotus crystals for the look of a sparkly geode. Several variations are possible, including terrariums of different shapes and sizes, and the components in this piece can be adapted into wearable jewelry too.
In this class, students will learn how to construct the terrarium frames and the crystal, succulent, and flower components. Kits cover one of these components, however all students will receive the instructions for all three projects shown. We'll cover in detail how to fill your terrarium frames and assemble the finished project.
I record my beaded demonstrations in class for you to review later (the rest of the class time is not recorded). All registered students will receive links to access these bite-sized recordings within a few days of the conclusion of the class.
Please visit the FAQs for more information, and visit my workshops page for my current class schedule.
